Bill has always been the friendliest neighbour's Dad that anyone would hope to meet. He would say Hi every time he saw us outside and would come over with Rosie and Liz to spend time with our little furbaby kitty Suzy. You can tell Bill enjoyed building too - if there was something needing to be built/fixed he was out there with his big smile :D. After he rebuilt the girl's playground to make it safe and fun for his grandchildren, he would always be outside with them at every opportunity. His love for his family and kindness for others will always be remembered by everyone he touched and he will be greatly missed!

Bill was a great guy and we shared many laughs at the bus shed and at the rink both as parents and as a coach. Bill was our driver for high school hockey for many years and often helped out on the bench when called upon. Heaven has gained another great man. To the Okolison family we send our deepest condolences to you all. You are in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. Ken and Janice Shine

Bill will be missed so much. Bill was a frequent visitor at our house. We’d all go to the beach together and swim in the pond on the farm after our days in tobacco. I didn’t see Bill without a smile on his face and he laughed a lot. We did get into a debate sometimes when I would call my Bible THE BOOK. Bill kept correcting me how it was only a book. I’d keep trying to change his mind to no avail. His children went to school together with ours even sharing children birthday parties. I will miss Bill so much . He remains in my mind a school bus mechanic who only saw the happiness in the world! God wanted another good soul up in heaven with him. (Even if the Bible is a book not T H E book!)
