Obituary of Robert Ramsay

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, May 12, 2013, Robert "Bob" Ramsay of Strathroy, passed away in his 93rd year. Special friend of Marilyn Fisher. Predeceased by his wife Emily (Ryle) in 1994. Loving father of Fred Ramsay (Judy) of Bayfield. Dearest grandpa of Kris Vanderheyden (Jim), and Shelley Taylor (Brett). Great-grandpa of Alex and Craig Vanderheyden, and Payton and Carson Taylor. Predeceased by his parents Murray and Margaret Ramsay, his brother Jack Ramsay, and his daughter Susan Ramsay (2012) (Mark). Bob was known for building canoes, the Boy Scouts of Canada, and was a former Counselor of Strathroy. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 11-1 p.m. where the Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of Bob, donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
