Obituary of Joseph Krebs

At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, on Sunday, July 12, 2020, Joseph “Joe” Krebs, of West Lorne, passed away at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Alice Krebs (née Rose). Loving father of Joanne (Doug) Pinter, Dave (Aleta) Krebs and Steve (Janice) Krebs. Cherished grandfather of: Kaela (Kyle) Sales, Josh Pinter (Hollie), Michelle Krebs (Ryan), Michael (Gillian) Krebs, Kyle Krebs (Sarah), Alicia (Beau) Freeman, Joel (Jennifer) Rayner, Heidi (John) Schneider and Jada Krebs. Fondly remembered by his great-grandchildren: Braedan Sales, Scarlett Krebs and Fin Freeman. Joe was a hard-working cash crop farmer in West Elgin. His musical talents on the accordion were well known in the community as he was the founder of the “Joe Krebs and his Starlighters” band. A private service will take place. Cremation to follow with interment in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the West Elgin Daffodil Society-Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
